Christmas in Ireland

Brrrr, it is cold in Ireland in winter!!!

What an amazing month we had. The boys travelled really well considering the long haul flights. I packed little presents for them to unwrap every time they needed to keep still for any length of time. I took textas, colouring books, play dough, books, ipad games and snacks for on the plane trips.

We stayed with Family in Limerick and travelled around the country side. Christmas in Ireland is amazing, they do so much more than we in Australia do. The lights, decorations and festivities are fantastic.

Had a lovely stay at The Woodlands Hotel in Adare. They have beautiful meals and the Christmas trees set up in the foyer were magnificent. Hayden and Tristan were in heaven. Even managed to use their day spa which was a.m.a.z.i.n.g.

Galway is stunning as always, what an adventure. I hope we can go back in a few years time...perhaps during summer next time with a little trip to Spain and France thrown in.
